MESSAGE FROM HONORARY SECRETARY ASI

Greetings from ASI Head Quarters!!

I am extremely delighted that the 84th Annual Conference of ASI which is the second largest association of Surgeons in the Globe - ASICON 2024 is being organised at Agra in the month of December 2024.

Dear Colleagues, This conference will be a landmark event in the history of ASI as it is being conducted at a most sought after tourist destination in the globe i.e. Agra, which has a rich cultural heritage and is also famous for its hospitality and delicious cuisines.

The icing on the cake will be this conference is getting organised at a Five-star conventional centre having international standards i.e. Hotel Jaypee Palace which is spread over 30 Acres landscaped greenery with 341 rooms at the venue and is located on 6 lane road which has no traffic congestion. The best part is it is in close vicinity of the world famous Taj Mahal.

City of Agra has already successfully hosted more than 20 national conferences of various specialities in the past and this time the organising team is extremely excited to host all of you as this ASICON has come to Agra after 36 years of long wait.

This year the organising team is lead by most affable veteran of ASI Dr. Shiva Kant Misra as Org. Chairman, dear friend from ASI EC Dr. Amit Srivastava and Dr. Sameer Kumar as Org. Secretaries and Dr. Sunil Sharma as Org. Treasurer. And I am certain that the entire organising team of Agra Surgical Society and office bearers of UP state chapter will leave no stone unturned in ensuring this ASICON 2024 to be a grand success. The cherry on the top of this icing is that the President ASI 2024 Dr. Probal Neogi hails from UP state chapter and this will act as a major boon for this conference.

After all “Leadership is all about translating vision in to reality”.

Lets all join hands and support this noble, pinnacle, scientific endeavour.
